A french provincial inspired wedding editorial at the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland venue - Austinvilla Estate dreamt up by Wedding stationery designer Leesh from Little Green Leaf. When Leesh contacted Gold Coast Wedding planner Zoe of Panorama Events to be apart of this wonderful shoot - Zoe couldn’t say no! Gathering the best vendors in the business and they Team started finalising the finer details.

highlights: Despite the chaos of the rain, we all had such an awesome day creating together. On wedding days it can be really busy and hard to catch up with the suppliers individually. So on shoot days it’s amazing to give the vendors the concept that we are looking at and any particular item that we would like included.

Apart from that, it’s up to them to create what they think will fit the shoot and the creativity just runs wild.

did you face any challenges on the day? Unfortunately on the day we encountered a big challenge, the rain. As the flowers had already been ordered, the cake had already been made and the models had organised time off we didn’t have a choice to change the date of the shoot. So we went ahead and hoped for the best!

Turns out that the weather just added to the style of shoot we were going for, the mist that glided through the mountains created a stunning setting, and the clouds softened the light to make the photos all that more dreamy. We also luckily had plenty of room in the open air chapel to do our reception setup out of the elements (Perfect choice of venue).

what led you to decide on this venue? We chose Austinvilla Estate as the venue for the styled shoot because of their beautiful views, stunning grounds, amazing staff and DELICIOUS open air chapel.

favourite detail: It was incredible to watch the team work together on the day, everyone chipped in to ensure that we got all the shots needed despite the weather. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and couldn’t have achieved any of it without the help of the incredible vendors involved.
