Calstock Estate, this inspiration editorial planned, styled & coordinated by
Artaud & Co draws inspiration from classic European elegance and the understated luxury of old money sophistication.

Artaud & Co, the styling for this
Calstock Estate editorial embraced a muted, refined palette designed to harmonise with the Georgian architecture and the soft, golden hues of the autumn light. Capturing the vision with her signature editorial approach was
Bianca Virtue — a globally renowned photographer whose eye for elegance and detail made her the perfect choice to bring this concept to life.
A sculptural split floral installation by

Romantic candlelight from
Burleigh Candle Co’s sculptural candlesticks and five-arm candelabras completed the look — a thoughtful interplay of texture, tone, and form, grounded in elegance. Soft, luminous makeup paired with relaxed (perfectly executed by

The intention was to create a visual story that feels effortlessly elegant: timeless and opulent, yet intentionally modern with historic charm.

The estate’s historic character and sweeping grounds of
Calstock Estate provided the perfect backdrop for a story steeped in tradition, grace, and effortless European charm. The natural surroundings, architectural features, and quality of light played a key role in shaping the aesthetic and narrative of the shoot. The Georgian architecture provided a stately yet romantic canvas, with its symmetry and aged textures offering a striking contrast to the organic, flowing elements woven throughout the styling.
"While we proudly collaborate with many Tasmanian vendors, we also source select styling goods, stationery, and occasionally photography from interstate to ensure the classic, timeless editorial aesthetic clients know and love. It’s this thoughtful blend of local artistry and refined design elements that defines the elevated experience we strive to deliver." Lisa shares - Artaud & Co.
Soft autumn light filters through the haze, casting a golden glow across the estate’s gardens and weathered sandstone façades, enriching the mood with warmth and depth. Contemporary touches such as reimagined sculptural lilies and luxurious candelabras - all introduce a modern sensibility without overshadowing the classic tone.
