Elegant Botanical & Mocha Wedding Inspiration at Hilltop Estate Tamborine Mountain
When the doors of Hilltop Estate Gold Coast / Scenic Rim region reopened with a fresh vision, it was impossible for Marisha of Magnolia Studios not to feel excited. What once was quietly tucked away has now been reimagined into a wedding space that beautifully bridges heritage charm with a refined, modern aesthetic. The creative direction from Magnolia Studios leans into the venue’s rich, dark timber interiors—drawing inspiration from warm coffee tones and soft creamy neutrals, a palette that continues to define contemporary wedding styling. The result was a seamless blend of old and new: a harmonious balance where the estate’s history meets elevated, editorial elegance.
Ceremonies at Hilltop Estate unfold inside the estate’s beautifully restored chapel, where panoramic views stretch effortlessly across the valley. The space felt intimate yet expansive, grounded by a lush floor installation of deep green foliage and delicate white blooms. The floral design, led by Magnolia Studios, framed the altar in a way that enhanced the natural architecture without overwhelming it—letting both the florals and the landscape speak in equal measure.

As the day at Hilltop Estate transitions into the reception, guests are welcomed onto the open-air deck, where sweeping views toward Surfers Paradise created a truly unforgettable backdrop. The styling here continued the story—layered textures, refined table settings, and a relaxed yet luxurious atmosphere that invited guests to linger.
At the heart of the table sat a statement tiramisu tower by John Eecake, offering a modern twist on the traditional wedding cake and doubling as a visual centrepiece. Behind the lens, Olive and Oak Visuals captured the day with a soft, editorial approach—focusing on movement, light, and those in-between moments that often say the most.

Beauty was kept effortlessly polished, with hair and makeup by La Rose Beauty and La Belle Ame Aesthetics, creating a look that felt both modern and timeless. The fashion story unfolded through tailored suiting by URBBANA and romantic gowns from The White Aisle Bridal—each piece thoughtfully chosen to complement the overall tone of the day.
Every detail, right down to the stationery by Signed With Love, contributed to a cohesive and elevated aesthetic. And with models Celine Carrington and JD Whaites bringing the vision to life, the entire shoot felt like a natural extension of what a wedding at Hilltop Estate could truly be. This was more than just a styled shoot—it was a reintroduction.
A celebration of a beloved location, thoughtfully restored and reimagined for a new generation of couples seeking something both meaningful and beautiful.
