Set amongst the misty hills of Sintra, Portugal, Danielle and Baillie’s wedding at Camélia Gardens unfolded and captured by Adriana Morais Photography with the kind of quiet romance that feels entirely in tune with the surroundings.

The gardens, dense with towering nature and winding pathways, provides a setting that needs little interruption. Wild florals by Bloomery Floral Design climbed naturally through the space, while candlelit tables candlelit garden tables stretching beneath the Portuguese sky, creating an atmosphere that feels intimate, cinematic and deeply atmospheric.

Planned and styled by ByMATILDA, this celebration balances editorial refinement with a palette of blush, ivory and layered greens softening the historic setting, woven through thoughtful floral installations, textured linens and understated details that allowed the landscape itself to remain central.

Danielle and Baillie created a wedding that feels timeless, intimate and entirely their own.

Wildly Romantic Florals

The floral design by Bloomery Floral Design transformed the gardens into a romantic dreamscape. Overflowing arrangements framed the ceremony and villa entrance with an organic, painterly feel — delicate blooms spilling naturally amongst layers of textured greenery. The floral palette perfectly complements the lush surroundings of Camélia Gardens, creating a setting that felt both elevated and deeply connected to nature.

An Alfresco Evening Beneath the Trees

Led by Sam Gardner Celebrant, the ceremony was heartfelt, warm and filled with genuine emotion. As dusk settled across the gardens, guests gathered for a beautiful alfresco reception catered by Casa da Comida. Long tables stretched beneath glowing festoon lights while conversations, candlelight and music carried through the evening air.

Thoughtful Details and a Joyful Atmosphere

Entertainment by D’Johnz kept the celebration flowing late into the night, while elegant furnishings from Backup Rentals completed the refined garden aesthetic. Every detail felt intentional — from the romantic stationery and signage by the Bride & Groom to Danielle’s sentimental engagement ring sourced from local jewellers in the couple’s hometown.
