Wedding inspiration that evokes a feeling. Hosted by Mia Turner Photography & Satin Bow Events, the vision embraces an aesthetic where fashion, architecture and floral artistry exist in perfect harmony. Set within the timeless beauty of Al Ru Farm, this editorial unfolds like a living gallery, celebrating sculptural design, refined craftsmanship and the effortless elegance of contemporary weddings.
Cascading lengths of ivory textile spill across manicured lawns like couture trains, transforming the historic Al Ru Farm estate into an immersive installation. Sculptural florals by Adelaide Flower House rise from softly draped tablescapes, delicate layers of silk catch the afternoon light, and every composition feels intentionally restrained yet undeniably luxurious. The palette is soft and tonal, allowing texture, silhouette and movement to become the focal point—an editorial expression of timeless romance reimagined through an artistic lens.
— "Every supplier's work complemented one another. Sophie's styling (from Satin Bow Events), Connie's (from Adelaide Flower House) beautiful florals and the incredible backdrop of Al Ru Farm all worked together perfectly. What we loved most was that, although it felt really creative and editorial, it never felt too over the top or out of reach. I could genuinely imagine a couple having this at their wedding, which made it feel even more special."
Organic floral installations by Adelaide Flower House breathe life into the editorial, their sculptural forms echoing the surrounding landscape while elevating each carefully considered vignette. The character-filled grounds of Al Ru Farm provide the perfect backdrop, enhanced by elegant furniture and crockery, statement chandeliers from Lush Lighting, refined stationery by Soleil Invites You, a contemporary confection by Lyons Den Cakes, and beautifully styled bar details by Simply Sage Event Hire.
Completing the editorial are couture bridal gowns by Leah Da Gloria, paired with a charming miniature look by Imagine Bridal, impeccably tailored suiting from Oscar Hunt Tailors, elegant footwear by The White Collection AU, and polished beauty by Samie Blush and Ash Air Artistry. Bringing the vision to life, models Georgia & Harrison embody the editorial's quiet confidence and modern romance—creating a collection of imagery that feels less like a styled shoot and more like a timeless work of art.
"Having recently moved from the UK to Adelaide, I envisioned bringing a true European editorial wedding aesthetic to South Australia. I shared that with Sophie (from Satin Bow Events), who transformed the inspiration into an incredible creative concept through her styling and design expertise. Together, we wanted to create an editorial that Adelaide hadn't really seen before. Something sculptural, artistic and immersive, while remaining timeless and romantic." Mia - Mia Turner Photography
One of the things I love most about Al Ru Farm is how every area feels completely different. You have the beautiful flower-filled gardens, the stunning pond framed by stone pillars and statues, and the open lawn with the gorgeous homestead behind it. Every space brought something unique to the shoot, but together they created that European feeling we'd been searching for.
Without a doubt, the main tablescape set the mood of the day. It became the heart of the entire editorial, bringing every element together. From the sculptural florals and flowing textiles to the dramatic layers and unexpected textures. It felt artistic yet effortless, creating the statement moment we had imagined from the very beginning.
"For us, it was definitely the second tablescape by the pond that was the most magical scene in person. Once the afternoon light started filtering through the pillars, everything just came to life. It had such a whimsical, romantic feel that made it seem like we'd been transported to a European garden."
