Set in a warm, rustic-chic courtyard with terracotta potted plants and wooden chairs, the setting brings European garden party vibes to life. A long reception table peeks through in the background, dressed in organic greenery and understated elegance - perfect for an intimate al fresco gathering.
Radiating a sun-drenched, Tuscan-inspired ambience with a touch of modern bridal flair, the warm light, textured rustic style instantly transports you to an Italian villa courtyard, where la dolce vita is always the mood. The bride’s off-the-shoulder gowns from White Lily Couture flows with effortless romance, while her cocktail in hand adds a playful, celebratory edge like she’s just stepped out of her reception for a sparkling moment of joy.
The vintage scooter, with its creamy whites and bold splash of terracotta-orange, feel straight out of a dreamy European holiday... the kind where you sip Prosecco, explore winding streets, and soak up golden afternoons under olive trees. Together, it creates a chic, Tuscan-inspired tableau: glamorous yet relaxed, timeless yet undeniably fun.
The long banquet table, dressed in earthy olive branches cascading to the ground, instantly evokes that effortless Mediterranean elegance. There’s a softness and abundance to the greenery, grounding the whole look in nature. Warm wooden chairs and minimal yet refined place settings keep things unfussy, letting the textures and natural tones do the talking.
Overhead, string lights twinkle, promising that when the sun sets, the courtyard will glow with that golden, romantic magic - the kind of atmosphere that feels both relaxed and celebratory, like a Tuscan summer evening where wine flows and laughter lingers.
It’s a setting that whispers la dolce vita / timeless, soulful, and utterly transportive.

They also tasted heavenly, I hid in my cupboard that night hiding from my children so I didn’t have to share... haha

challenges.
Weather, always weather! It’s so hard with a photoshoot because all of the vendors donate their time to create epic content.. But suppliers like florists & cake makers actually have to invest money and create something that has a short life span. With photoshoots I try and make the call whether they will go ahead at least 4 days prior, which hopefully means that no money has been outlayed. With this shoot the weather still looked a bit unpredictable, we decided to just go with it and get it done. Even on the day we were threatened with storms all around, however, the weather gods were on our side and it just created the most epic moody lighting for us to play with! PHEW!venue.
C hateau Nesbit is owned by the incredible Marcia from Gold Coast Farmhouse, I’ve worked many weddings at her beautiful venue and I was so honoured when I was asked to bring together the first shoot for the venue!

Cakeeeee (Drool), honestly Samantha from Hello Little Crumb absolutely blew all of our minds with the masterpieces she created. I love vendors that you can just pass an inspo board to and they just nail every. single. part. They also tasted heavenly, I hid in my cupboard that night hiding from my children so I didn’t have to share... haha
