The perfect combination of modern design and elegance here with sensational Brisbane wedding vendors highlighting the stunning nature of When Freddie Met Lilly's Georgia Collection at the Blackbird Bar & Grill at Riverside in Brisbane.

With views over the Brisbane river and lights twinkling all around at night time, we were super excited to use this styled shoot to create inspiration images for the modern, Brisbane bride - Images + film by Sundown Film & Photography.

After another recent shoot of our Georgia Collection at a stunning country venue, we wanted to do another shoot to highlight the versatility of the gown design at When Freddie Met Lilly. So, we started researching venues that were the complete opposite to rural and found Blackbird. They were so willing to collaborate and excited to receive the publicity after such a long shutdown due to Covid-19 regulations. The perfect kick-start to hosting weddings again!

favourite detail: Seeing all the Brisbane vendors come together so seamlessly. The styling was impeccable and it was such an honour to see our Georgia Collection at what was basically a real-life wedding after months and months of all 20+ gowns!

favourite moment: Taking in the combination of the intricate dress design paired with the natural beauty of Brisbane at night time. With more rural wedding locations becoming increasingly popular, it was beautiful to put a spin on that and highlight a stunning spot for an inner-city wedding!
